all about the back + my furry family
Hi guys! This morning was all about the back (and abs). I had an excellent workout, and a great start to my day.
Once I got to school, I ate my plain, non-fat Greek yogurt with raspberries and blueberries because it is my new favorite thing.
Later on, I had protein soaked oats. When I plan and prep the meals I take to school, I have to also think about the amount of time it takes me to eat the food, and how germ-free eating the food is. I do not have a lot of time to eat or do much of anything from 8:30-2:30, so my meals need to be quick and nutrient dense. I also refuse to touch any food at school because I am a major germaphobe, so I make sure whatever I am bringing can be eaten with a fork or spoon. If I ever bring an apple, I wash it at home and bring my own paper towels in my lunch bag and hold the apple with them.
My furry family was very happy to have me back home this afternoon. Next week is Ruby's 8th birthday, and I don't want her to get any older!!!
I had a little snack of cucumber spears with Kernel Season's ranch seasoning while working on some nutrition programs!
Mike made dinner while I did my work- beef tenderloin and roasted asparagus. Delicious.
Since I am running later than usual tonight, you get to see my casein and peanut butter bedtime snack! I hope you had a great Tuesday!!
