Hi guys! Last night, I woke up at 1:30am thinking it was about time for my alarm to go off, but when I checked the clock and realized how early it was, a million things just started racing through my mind. I tossed and turned and I think I fell asleep just before my alarm did go off at 4:30, which was not the best feeling. But, at least I know I will sleep really good tonight, the night before the first day of school, which is a really good thing!

I got up, had a coffee, and then started my workout in the garage. At 5:30 I headed to the other gym to finish it and to do some stair climbing and sweat out the sleepiness (it worked for about half of the day!) Today was all about the shoulders and triceps, which I LOVE.

I actually love all of my training days now, which is such a good feeling. At first, when I switched gears from training for competitive powerlifting to training for simply being fit AF, leg day was a day that did not excite me. You know why? Because it was hard. It was actually too hard, which made it demotivating for me. It drained me mentally, which is part of the reason I decided to start programming for myself. I created a plan that works for me, and all of my training days became just the right amount of hard, with a lot of fun and immediate physical responses, which are "fun" to feel and see. 

I came home and had my post workout meal on the deck with Bo Bo. I had protein soaked oats with fresh strawberries... yum!!

My sweet friend at school surprised me with homemade energy bites and freshly picked cherry tomatoes from her garden, which definitely increased the quality of my day! Thank you, Pam, if you're reading!! And, Laura, if you're reading, I picked this book to use at PD just for you ;)

After an extremely draining day of sitting through a presentation that required lots of thinking from 8am-3pm, I am definitely ready to have actual children in front of me tomorrow! We have lots to read!

You can tell it's back to school for me because our Tupperware-in-use has tripled. Is there a dishwasher that dries the plastic wear? If so, I need it.

For dinner, we had grilled buffalo rubbed chicken wraps that were the best things ever. The wrap is the Tumaro's 9 Grain and Chia Low Carb wrap :)
