a three waffle kind of day + how i avoid hanger
I woke up and headed straight to get my blood sucked out of me this morning! Waking up and not having a coffee (fasted bloodwork) was the saddest thing ever, so I'm glad that's over!!!
After my back and abs workout, it was a three waffle kind of day. I topped them with blueberries and bananas, and had a snickerdoodle protein milkshake on the side.
The simplest lunch: Joseph's Lavash bread, sliced ham, spinach, and yellow mustard.
And a pear and iced coffee as lunch-dessert in the car while listening to my favorite song (I have about 12 favorite songs actually) on blast, on repeat ;)
Later in the afternoon, I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on the other half of that Lavash bread, but didn't take a picture. I like to plan a meal for around 3 or 4 o'clock because I am consistently hungry at that time! This helps me avoid the hanger and everything that comes along with it (snacking, spoiling my dinner, annoying Mike asking him how long until he gets home so we can eat, etc!)
Before dinner, we took the dogs for a nice, long walk and we all thoroughly enjoyed it!
I showered and Mike grilled up some buffalo rubbed chicken and roasted asparagus for dinner. Simple, delicious, nutritious.
Now it's time for Master Chef! Does anyone else like this show?! Just me???
