soul on fire, my new starbucks go-to, and lots more
Hello there! What a strange and fast week it has been for this girl right here! I just emailed my clients' weekly check in reminder and I literally had to double check the fact that it was Thursday! Soooo, we are going to play a little game of catch up here.
Something really super duper crazy exciting came up on this week, and had me heading out towards Boston yesterday. I will hopefully be telling you and showing you more about it in the coming weeks and months, but for now I will just say that I didn't even realize something like this opportunity might be possible for me, but now that I have been teased with the possibility, my soul is literally on fire and I am going to make it happen- I have to... somehow. Sorry for being so vague, but like I said, hopefully I will be able to tell you about it eventually, and just cross your fingers for me, guys!
I had to stop at lululemon on my way out, even though I had been there once this week already...
Then I just grabbed a pineapple, mango, banana, coconut water smoothie at Whole Foods and headed back home. I have become so impatient when it comes to driving distances longer than a hour if I am by myself. I felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin on the car ride home, and every minute of the ride felt like a century. I am not dramatic at all, either.
Oh, this is from earlier that morning on my way out of town---> my new go-to at Starbucks. A Venti Iced Coffee with 3 pumps of sugar free mocha and 2 equals. The sugar free mocha is about 5 calories and 2 carbs per ounce, so it's basically nothing and it's delicious.
What else? Tuesday was back day, yesterday was shoulders and triceps, and today I did cardio. Here is what I did on Tuesday, because I know some of you like seeing my workouts :) And I mentioned it on Instagram, but now that I am writing my own workouts, I feel more comfortable sharing exactly what I do.
You guys, do other gyms have rules like THIS? I personally think this is so silly, and also feel like it just gives me an excuse to stink.
After my workout today, I had soaked oats with the PEScience Peanut Butter Cookie protein powder, a teaspoon of cocoa powder, and unsweetened vanilla almond. I added some banana slices and sugar free syrup to sweeten it ip and it was perfect.
For lunch, I had a whole wheat English muffin, egg whites, and a cold and extra crispy red delicious apple.
I spent most of this lovely day laying by the pool and just contemplating life- nice and relaxing!
Dinner was big old grilled buffalo rubbed chicken salad which was pretty much the best thing ever.
I'm going to have my pro-yo for dessert in a little while, but I had this first: Hank's Protein Plus Protein Spread. If you like Nuts N More, this is so much better. There is no layer of oily liquid that you have to mix in, the bottom doesn't get hard and dry, and it's a lot more natural tasting! I DEFINITELY weigh this out, though, because it's that good and it's the only way I will really let myself have it! In 2tbsp (32g) 10P, 7C, 13F, 55mg sodium (way less than most PB- my natural PB has 150mg), 2g fiber, 2g sugar.
