exactly what i needed + i soaked it all in
Happy SUNday!! I hope you had a nice weekend! Yesterday, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, completely exhausted and feeling very not myself. Luckily, I know myself well enough to know exactly what I needed. A really good sweat and a nice fresh start to the day ahead of me. So, Mike and I headed to the gym and I pushed myself through a 50 minute cardio session that made me question my life, but was completely refreshing and much needed. I was obviously still tired afterward because sleep deprivation is not exactly curable through cardio, but I felt 1000000x better.
We came home, I made a nice cold yogurt, blueberries, and banana bowl, and I was ready to get on with my day. Luckily, it was full of client check ins that just made me smile at my computer screen for a few hours, and then relaxing by the pool with Mike and the dogs.
For lunch, I made riced cauliflower with marinara sauce and a spinach salad with Bolthouse Farms ranch yogurt dressing.
Red delicious apples are ok when they are extra crispy and cold. And when eaten by water.
For dinner, I made a gigantic hamburger salad. It was just a big bed of spring mix and extra spinach, dill pickle slices, chopped baby carrots, grilled onions, and the burger covered in reduced sugar ketchup and regular mustard. If you're ever super hungry, make this- I could barely finish it!
This morning, I felt so much better and decided to get my day 1 of training for the week done. Chest and biceps it was, and it was suchhhh a good one. I think I told you, but I'm working on keeping my workouts under an hour now, and it is a new challenge, but all intensifies everything- which is a good thing!! This was my workout this morning...
I made a perfect funfetti pancake and snickerdoodle pro-yo for my post workout meal.
All day, I was just thinking about how it was a really perfect day in all ways, and I soaked it all in.
I hope you had a great weekend too! See you tomorrow!
