a beach day, a leg day, a spray paint party + a date with myself
Happy Friday!!!! Yesterday was a busy day that started with a seriously good shoulder and tricep workout...
Then, I met my friend at the beach and soaked up the sunshine! It was a hot one with no breeze and lots of sweating, but we had such a nice and relaxing day!
When I got home, Mike had dinner ready for me and I was completely beat. As soon as Mike put on FOOTBALL, I was like, "Goodnight". Football season is my least favorite thing and I just don't understand why it has to start NOW.
This morning was all about the leggies!!!!! I am programming for myself, and designing my workouts so I can finish them in under and hour if I stay focused. The leg pump today was like no other- I've never felt that way in my legs before, but now I think I am addicted! Walking out of the gym, I couldn't tell if my legs were straight or bent, that's how good it was.
My teacher friend and I had a date at school to paint the dingy, hundred year old shelves and tables that are in our classrooms! I don't have a before picture, but these were all dark brown and completely disgusting from at least 50 years (not joking) of use/abuse! I could not stand looking at them every day last year, but now they are just beautifulllllllll! I will show you how they look all set up in my classroom soon- I couldn't put stuff on them today obviously because they were still tacky.
I was/am covered in spray paint dust and there are unicorn colors up my nose. But the job is done and will make for a happier year :)
After that long day of manual labor and sweating like crazy, yet again, I went on a date with myself. I had an energy bite and a cold brew as an appetizer...
and a bowl full of fermented beets, brown rice, shredded carrots, avocado, hemp seeds, beet hummus, and sprouts for a late lunch. It was perfection.
When I got home, Bo and I found this package for Mike on the doorstep and I didn't feel so bad about the two that came for me yesterday :)
He's living the life, by the way❤️🎾
Have a great night!
