Hi guys! This morning was a sweaty one!! I decided to do my third cardio session of the week today, so tomorrow I can focus solely on leg day, rather than trying to combine the two. you guys, I came really, really close to having a heart attack on the Matrix climber- Mike said he could hear me gasping for air from across the gym, but my Beats make me unaware of any/everything going on- especially during those super tough intervals where I am just trying to stay alive and vertical. 

Breakfast was weird and not that good today because I wasn't really in the mood for anything in particular. I just had folded egg whites, a Joseph's pita with PB2, and a pink lady apple. I put a couple slices on the pita and folded it into a sandwich, and ate the rest while my eggs cooked. Not my favorite breakfast whatsoever, but it did the job- protein + carbs. 

I showered, got ready, and headed down to Connecticut to meet my friend Meera, so we could visit our friend Laura and her brand new identical twin baby girls! Meera and I each got one :) 

We grabbed some groceries on our way over and had turkey sandwiches on Fold Its, with salad, watermelon, and strawberries for lunch. Much better than my breakfast!

We spent the afternoon rotating babies. One would get changed, eat, get changed again, sleep, eat again... and the other had to do the same as soon as the other was done, and repeat. It was quite the process, but Laura already has the whole thing down like a pro and literally looks like she didn't even have one baby, nevermind two!

When i got home, I got in my comfy clothes, had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on a pita, and did a little work. 

I convinced Mike to "play" Master Chef and create a meal with the beef tenderloin, summer squash, and zucchini and then I would judge him like they do on the show. This did get him to cook the whole dinner (we usually cook dinner together), but he lost a lot of points on the presentation of the dish. It was delicious, though, and I think we should play this game more! Don't you, Chef Michael?

I had some leftover carbs, so I had a cup of PB Blasts with my casein milkshake tonight. Now it is time to  R E L A X!!!
