It's FRIDAYYYYYYY!!!! The start of June has me feeling all sorts of ways. As a teacher, June is an ending time, but I am feeling like it's a new beginning, a fresh start, and I AM LOVING IT!!! So much exciting stuff that I can't wait to share with you guys, and a major focus on PACKING THE POWER over the next 4 months to get myself ready for Nationals!

Yesterday after school, I was putting away some laundry and cleaning up a bit and took this picture of myself. I take most of my pictures in the morning out of convenience and because I like when I have a little pump action going on haha! But, this is me at about 4:30pm, full of carbs and at least a gallon of water....

TODAY after school, I looked like a tired and crazy person. Why oh why is the front facing camera quality so much worse than the normal camera on my phone? I hate using it because the quality is so awful- does anyone know any tricks involving this? 

I am excited for a rest day tomorrow. Yesterday (Thursday), I had a tough lower body day with loads of low bar squats from the pins! That certainly tested my mobility, getting under and out from under the bar, all while trying to stick to a 15 second rest period. I am scared to look at what weight I am supposed to do for that next week! Today, I had a mix of upper and lower body lifts... I had heavy triples on bench and was happy to get them all without having to call Mike out for a spot! I also had close grip bench, front squats, overhead squats, and a bunch of other stuff. Fridays are my longest training day, at the moment, I believe. 

We did go have breakfast this morning, and I switched things up a little. I got plain old egg whites with my rye toast instead having it as an omelette filled with greens. I was just really craving something simple, and I think the warmer weather made me not want to be super full of a smoking hot omelette this morning. This was delicious, though.

If you're on any sort of social media, go out in public at all, or are involved in the strength community in some way, I am sure you heard it is National Donut Day today. This Father's Day craft doubled as a Donut Day celebration in my class.... and it actually kept their attention for a good hour or so! Allowing free range use of markers is the key there...

I've gotta run because Mike and I are about to go do something!! But, here are some more pictures from yesterday and today that I wanted to share with you guys!
