I had a nice deep sleep last night and woke up at 6:15 this morning feeling excellent. My sleep lately has been way better than last month, thank goodness. Sleep is top priority for me, and like I was telling a client this morning, it sets the foundation for a productive, successful, and happy day around here!
Speaking of clients, I worked on their check-ins last night and this morning for a few hours! This new little business is going really well, you guys! I'm so glad I can share my knowledge and passion to help others. I won't ask myself why I waited so long to do this, but I will say that I am extremely happy I am doing it.
I had folded egg whites, a whole wheat waffle, and a little banana/ strawberry salad for breakfast.
I'm crazy excited that one week from today will be my official summer vacation!
I folded laundry, finally showered, and did some stuff around the house. Bo followed me around and then I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on a Joseph's pita, which hit the spot.
This week at school, I planned a little "Farewell to First Grade" Fun Week. Each day, they have to wear something to fit the theme, and I planned one fun activity for each day so that we have something to look forward to! Monday is Neon Day and we are having a Bubble Party outside! So I headed to Dollar Tree and spent $50 on stuff for the week.... #worthit.
When I got home, I was craving refreshing, crunchy veggies. I made this mixing bowl salad that looks much smaller than it is in real life. It was exactly what I wanted.
It was a day full of quality time with my doggies...
Mike got home from work and we headed down to do some errands in CT. I brought a snickerdoodle and unsweetened almond milk protein shake for the ride.
When we got home, I had an egg white omelette with summer squash (accidentally poured all the pepper on it!) and asparagus. Lots and lots of asparagus!
I'm going to have some casein, watch some Hsllmark movies, and rest up! Hope you had a great Saturday!
