the more to do, the more done
The sky looks like this at my bedtime these days. I'm not mad about it.
This morning's lift was back and chest-centric, which I love so much. As I've mentioned, this is the last week of my program, and I and going to beg my coach to keep a day like this in my next one! After our lift, Mike and I ran with Bo again... that's three days in a row, but the hills are not getting any easier!
Today was field day at school, and it was easily the most exhausting day of the school year. I got this lovely "safety yellow" frumpy tee shirt and took the scissors to it between sets this morning. It came out pretty cute if I do say so myself.
Lift, design a shirt, run, shower, cook, eat. That was my morning before leaving the house for work. Last week at school, we were reading a biography about Thomas Edison and he said, "The more to do, the more done." It really resonated with me. Mike and I get a whole lot done in a day, especially in the early part of the morning. It's something that I definitely "inherited" from him and I love about us and our life.
I finally watched Beauty and the Beast and I am officially obsessed. Mike doesn't get it. My eight year old self is in love with every bit of the new movie. Talk about 100% enchanted.
Have a great night!
