Happy Tuesday! Six years ago today, I invited myself over to my across-the-street-neighbor's house.... the rest is history! Life is all about choices, and he was the best one ever.
I got to train this morning! It was nice to be back in the garage and not be stressed about anything. These two weeks will be a like a reset button of sorts, like I was saying yesterday.
I had egg whites and Ezekiel bread for a quick breakfast before heading to school this morning. Where is the warmth, by the way?? I remember last May being extra warm and summer-like.... please make that happen soon!!!!!
and a beautiful Mother's Day portrait ;)
Raisins for some sweet, healthy carbs.
My phone died when I got home, so I took this picture with my real camera. I think I am going to use it for most of my blog pictures starting tomorrow, especially since my phone is just about completely out of order #reckless. Also, do you see that WHITE trim??? And the wall color??? That is all new! The kitchen/entire downstairs project is about 80% complete and I am soooooooo excited!!!!!
I cooked up 99% lean ground turkey meat with taco seasoning and we had it with spinach, green peppers, and riced cauliflower with sauce for dinner. Simple, quick, and delicious. Also, Bolthouse Ranch yogurt dressing is perfection.
After dinner, Mike worked on painting a few shutters and I worked on cleaning and cutting these bottles for a project at school tomorrow! We researched buying all new shutters because I am 100% done with painting anything for a long time, but Mike decided he would try painting them, which was a huge surprise to me. He tested a couple out and they came out AMAZING, so now he is on a roll. There are so many, but we are starting with the front of the house and it looks a thousand times better already! So that was our evening... projects!
Here's the freshly painted front door with new hardware and a couple of the shutters Mike painted. The front porch is brick, but the rest of the house is white, so the black will look super crisp and clean!
I added fat free whipped creamed and sugar free Hershey's syrup to my casein soup tonight and it was a treat! I also had more peanut butter and some dry PB Blasts cereal to top off my macros for the day!
I hope you had a great day!
