my intra shake, HE'S THE BEST, and i told you i drink a lot
Hey guys!! I've been feeling like it's Monday all day, so I think it's going to be a good week! Some of you have asked what I eat before my early morning workouts, and the truth is, at 4:30am, I don't *eat* anything! I have my coffee and then I make myself an intra shake. I mix 25-50 grams of carbs (depending on the number of sets in my workout that day) using this carb powder, and about 15 grams of whey protein in water with ice cubes. I drink a little of it as I stretch and get warmed up, and I drink the rest throughout my training. I usually finish it before I am done, so I have a Powerade Zero, Monster, or BCAAs in water to sip on for the rest of my lift!
I ran inside to use the bathroom and found my husband making dinner at 5:58am! He's seriously THE BEST.
Post workout, I have more protein and carbs to refuel and build those muscles!
Protein and carbs again a couple hours later...
I had a peanut butter sandwich on a Joseph's pita at lunchtime. I brought kale and spinach too, but I was super full today, so I saved them and ate them after dinner tonight!
I had a nail appointment after school and followed that up with a peanut butter snack!
Ruby's new summer collar came in the mail today and she was feeling fresh and pretty!
For dinner. we had zucchini and baked chicken breast with buffalo rub on it. I put Kernel Seasons ranch powder on it and it was perfection.
I did a bunch of work, and the afternoon and evening flew by. Before I knew it, it was time for my casein milkshake. Tonight's was extra smooth and creamy and delicious.
Also, I told you I drink a lot....
