greens are my thing

Happy Wednesday!! Life is so rough for poor Rubes....

This morning, I had front squats and paused front squats that nearly killed me, along with a bunch of leg and lower back accessory work. For breakfast, I had a cinnamon raisin bagel with Light Canola Oil butter and jelly, along with egg whites and spinach. 

Stickers of every kind and protein oats are basically how I am surviving teaching lately!

I brought cucumbers and green peppers for my greens and they were crispy and refreshing. 

Remember the seltzer bottles from last night? Here they are now... cute little planters with gems hot-glued on! Our marigolds are still growing, and hopefully the moms will like these cute little gifts!

After school, I had waffles with peanut butter and sugar free syrup as my after school snack. I want to say that this is the best combo ever, but really, any food I eat is the best combo to me. I do not waste my time eating things I don't truly truly enjoy and that don't do something good or purposeful to my body!

Mike and I had a beyond simple dinner of baked chicken with buffalo rub, roasted asparagus, and spinach salad. When this plate was empty, I filled it back up with more spinach salad because greens are my thing.

Now it's casein time and bed for this old lady!! Hope you had a good day! 

PS. Someone asked if I could make a video of how I make my casein each night, so look out for that sometime next week!!
