Today I had heavy incline bench and heavy deadlifts (plus deadlift clusters) as my main lifts. That was followed up by a bunch of accessory work and I was definitely feeling that it's week 4 of my program #sore. Deadlifts were so good- see IG for a video! I've been going beltless as much as I can lately. This has definitely helped build up my core and entire backside. The fact that my obliques hang over the sides of everything I wear now is proof, but the proof in also in my numbers, which makes me beyond happy.
Bo doesn't really care, but he's there for me everyday anyway❤️
When I finished up, I had a cinnamon raisin bagel with a little Light Canola Oil butter and strawberry jelly for carbs. For the protein part of this meal, I had a small shake with ice, 1/2 water, 1/2 unsweetened almond milk and snickerdoodle protein.
This was a very disappointing apple- Pink Lady or Jazz apples are the way to go right now, not Gala, just so ya know!
For lunch, I had a spinach, kale, cucumber, and tomato salad with chicken with buffalo rub on it. I used some Bolthouse Farms yogurt dressing, which is pretty amazing if you are looking for a low fat, low calorie, low carb dressing.
After school, I went home and got ready for the gym. WHAT?! Yes, I did a double session today to get in some accessory work that I didn't have time for this week in the mornings. As the weeks progress in my programs, the weights are heavier, warmups take longer, rest takes longer, and time goes by very fast. I decided to go do it at the gym with my coach for a change of scenery, which was fun.
I had Puffins on the way there...
Dinner was grilled turkey burger, roasted broccoli, and loads of raw greens. Regular mustard and reduced sugar ketchup made it so so good.
Dinner for the pups was leftover salmon from last night over their usual Orijen "Six Fish" dog food. They eat very well too :)
Before I knew it, it was time for some peanut butter and pro-yo. This day absolutely flew by and I feel like I could use some extra hours!!
I'm just about ready to go lay in bed~ hope you had a great day!
