This is how Ruby and I start our day at 4:30am. I can always count on her to keep me warm on cold mornings!
Today's main lifts were bench and pause back squats. They were heavy and pushed me, but I got them all and they felt really good! Benching my old max for three sets of triples and pause squatting my old max for sets of five made me think about how far I've come... and where I could go!
My post workout meal was waffles with snickerdoodle protein sauce and sugar free syrup like yesterday. It's so delicious if you're in the mood for something sweet!
I also had a piece of cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread for extra carbs as I walked out of the house! I used Land o Lakes Light Canola Oil butter on it.
I was simple like yesterday (and most days!) and brought two meals' worth of carbs and protein as overnight oats. Chocolate this time, and they were goooooood!! All I do is put the amount of Quaker Oats I need, the amount of protein powder I need, and unsweetened almond milk in a Tupperware container or bowl. I mix it all together and let it sit for however long I can- sometimes over night, sometimes just a couple hours, sometimes 20 minutes. It's good no matter what!!!
I also brought an extra large salad to cover my greens for the first part of the day. These seltzers are my new favorite- even Mike likes them and he isn't a seltzer lover like me.
At the end of the day I was introduced to the world of My Little Pony. I took a quiz with some of my little friends to see what Pony I am... that's me on the left ;)
After school it was pouringgggg! I came home and worked on my test for awhile. Peanut butter on a pita and complete silence were heavenly.
I made baked salmon, roasted asparagus, and raw veggies for dinner...
Then I had a nice casein milkshake with PB2 while finally starting to relax on the couch! Mike has casein pro yo every night with me, I'm going to have him do a big post one of these days so you can see how he eats and lives! Good idea?!
Tomorrow's hump day!!!! Have a good night :)
