I woke up naturally at 5:12 this morning and was happy to see the sun shining so brightly!!! I woke up, got ready, and we headed to the gym. I had snickerdoodle protein soaked in unsweetened vanilla almond milk on the way there!
Please see my Instagram for some good strong stuff from this morning!!! I'm feeling good with 12 days to go until the meet! After a 3.6 hour training session 😳, we went to eat!
After that, we stopped at the pet and garden center and got the dogs some food and cute fancy donut treats. Then we went to a different garden center and browsed for new plants. We are getting all the bushes taken out around the house and starting completely fresh... and I cannot wait!
Then we stopped at the market for some fresh veggies and good meat! I got this lemonade and I don't know if it just hit the spot today, or if it actually the perfect drink.
We came home and gave the pups their special donuts. They loved them, obviously, and loved hanging in the yard all afternoon!
I had a pita with PB2 and jelly...
And regular peanut butter a little while after.
I couldn't wait for dinner to cook, so I had a little spinach salad and Puffins to hold me over.
Mike grilled up steak and I roasted broccoli and asparagus.
After dinner, I had to take some body fat measurements and practice using the caliper! Ruby doesn't know how she got involved in all of this!!
Now it's time to relax for a bit and to have my casein milkshake. I am pumped to get this week of training in and to start really getting in the mental zone. Have a great night!
