Happy Hump Day, friends!
This morning's lift involved some incline bench press, some front squats, some weighted chin ups, some shoulder work, and some good mornings. Nothing too intense, but tomorrow's a "hard/heavy day" and I can't wait. There are twenty three more days until meet day, which is crazy to me. Lots of work to do!!
I had peanut butter Puffins, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and PEScience Snickerdoodle protein as the world's most dessert-like post training meal. I would choose this everyday if it was more filling, but overnight oats are much more filling to me, although they're faster to eat because I eat gigantic spoonfuls at a time.
I had my protein oats at school for my carbs and protein portions of two of my meals. It was a busy and kind of abnormal day for me with two meetings during school, a staff meeting after school, and lots of "fun stuff" going on in between because it's the week before vacation! Also, if you're wondering, I have figured out that "girl drama" starts in the 8th month of first grade. One. more. day.
I had a big ole bowl of greens later in the day. My poor throat is still stinging and hurting when I eat stuff some stuff, especially tomatoes. It's a lot better than before, though, thank god.
I left school and was happy to see that I wasn't as tired looking as I thought...
I headed to get my toes and nails done and grabbed a blueberry iced coffee on the way.
When I got home, I had peanut butter and sugar free jelly on Magic Pop while I waited for dinner to be cooked.
I love almost all Polar Seltzer flavors, but this one might be my favorite. This or Georgia Peach. Or Winter Citrus Berry.
For dinner, I had baked salmon, zucchini noodles with Rao's marinara, and roasted asparagus.
I had peanut butter and chocolate pro-yo with some PB2 on top. Do any of you eat dry PB2 like me?? I like it because it gets super sticky in your mouth (weirdo), but you have to be careful because if you breathe in at all, you inhale some of it and it's not fun. These are the problems no one talks about ;)
I also don't understand why sports have to be on alllllll of the time. I had no problem watching sports until my husband came along and literally only watches sports. And sports "news". And listens to "sports radio". I was so excited for football to be over, and I had like two good weeks, but then came March Madness stuff, the Masters, and now playoff hockey. WTF. ;) Luckily, I have lots of stuff to keep me busy while he talks to the tv.
I'm going to go watch some Drop Dead Diva and go to sleep! Have a good rest of your night!
