(trying to be) super strong sunday

Hi guys! Today started the last week of my current training program (my coach writes me a new program every 4 weeks). Last week was hard, so this week is bound to be a fun one ;)  

Mike and I go and train with my coach once a week. He watches and adjusts things, and well, coaches me in person rather than just through our daily texts/videos. 

Today's numbers (for bench at least) scared me. They say that's a good thing, right? Check out my IG for a video!

Inta-shake of carb powder and whey protein and a white monster to help get me through my training.  I honestly don't know how I survived without an intra-shake before RP. It's like a magical drink that gives me super powers every morning!

Today I had 4x5 deadlifts with 275#, worked up to a 1 rep max on bench with the SlingShot (got 225#), then did 2x3 with 200#, then 7 with 185#, then back squats off the pins. I followed those bigger lifts with some accessory work: one arm 75# barbell rows, 20# weighted thick grip pull ups, safety bar good mornings, reverse hyper, and decline sit ups.

After we finished lifting, we went for our Sunday post-workout meal, which is my absolute favorite! Here's a little before + after for ya!

Then I popped over to my friends' house for a quick visit and to pick up this super cute planter with our house number they made! I love it so much and I'm going to hang it next to the side door of the house tomorrow (I'll show you!) Check out all of their cute stuff on Etsy!!

When I got back, I had a pro-yo chocolate milkshake and cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread with light canola oil butter and jelly to get in more protein and carbs. On Sundays, I find myself way behind on my eating because our training starts later and lasts longer than on the weekdays.

Mike and I headed to the mall to get new doormats and a couple other random things, such as a pineapple dog toy that will last 28 seconds.

On the way home, we stopped for some dinner meat for the week. We got salmon, grass fed beef tenderloin, and turkey burgers. Chicken in some form(s) will make up the rest of this week's dinners! 

When we got home, I had another meal. Lots of broccoli, roasted turkey, 1/2 of a Joseph's pita and 1 tbsp of peanut butter.

We are having dinner soon (turkey burger on a Joseph's pita with lots and lots of spinach, kale, arugula, cucumbers, and green peppers!) Then it's casein and PB before bed. See how I kind of have to eat non stop on Sundays to fit it all in? It's fine with me though ;)
