How cool are these abstract self portraits my first graders made?! I was seriously impressed with their skills and willingness to think out of the box with me! I got the idea for this project from my new favorite artist who paints all my beautiful "Warrior Girls"- Maren Devine!
This morning's lift went great- heavy everything: overhead press, paused front squats, seated dumbbell shoulder press, paused deadlifts, and fun weighted chin ups! It's fun to finally feel a very noticeable difference in my strength lately! This means good things are ahead!!!
I had my post training overnight protein oats along with an extra large hot coffee when I got to school. Mondays are usually really good days at school because there's lots to do and the kids just seem to be better behaved.... I'll take it!
At my prep time, I had a roasted broccoli topped with salad and another serving of the protein oats. Name of my meal prep game... easy.
Lunch was leftover turkey burger over a gigantic salad. Regular mustard has been tasting so good to me lately, so I put this together while we were cleaning up dinner last night.
After school, I stopped at the post office to mail all of my packages and at Mike's shop for a quick visit. Then it was nail time because if one nail starts peeling, I have to get them redone #OCD. And I continue to not be able to pick any color other than pink (or white).
Dinner was my favorite. We had roasted asparagus, zucchini noodles, carrots, and grass fed beef tenderloin. I dipped my carrots in some Bolthouse blue cheese dressing- gotta try more flavors!
Then I had a sweet treat of Magic Pop, peanut butter and sugar free syrup. Sugar free syrup and Magic Pop is the secret to saving carbs but getting a sweet craving completely satisfied, FYI!
I just had my casein milkshake with more PB and my buddies were checking things out/hoping there was something for them.
Tonight may be a night I don't make it past Jeopardy😳!!! Have a good night!
