Going to bed at 7:00 last night was the best thing I ever did. I woke up so refreshed and basically just feeling amazing this morning! My training went so well and my deadlifts kind of blew my mind (see IG!) I do not know how so many people function on less sleep than they need... I am just not one of those people!
Before school, I stopped at WalMart to grab some stuff I needed (and didn't need ;) Art project stuff for my class, water, vitamins, and a couple cute things for me.
Like this 48oz Bubba mug!! I'm obsessed. I washed it and used it immediately!
I didn't have my protein overnight oats at home, so I just brought them along with me. I put sugar free syrup on top of them, which is why they look a little watery. I used my new BPI vanilla caramel whey protein, and it is just ok. I think PEScience officially has the best flavors!
One of my little friends gave me this sweet note and it made my day! It also made me realize that we have a lot of work to do in the next 58 school days hahahah!
Lunch was leftover roasted broccoli and taco seasoned ground chicken. I put some of my Kernel Seasons white cheddar seasoning on it and it was really good!
I also had a Joseph's pita with PB2 (with cinnamon mixed in) and jelly. It was like dessert- so sweet and delicious.
When I got home, I did some reading and took another quiz for my Specialist in Fitness Nutrition certification. A lot of people ask me about what I do for cardio, and I underlined this very important part of reading pertaining to that. I personally haven't done any cardio in about 4 months, and before that I was only doing very low intensity cardio (walking/ellipticalling) once or twice a week if I had time and if I felt like it. My nutrition is spot on and so is my training, so any extra time I have, I devote to resting!
I got up for a minute to make myself a snack and look who stole my spot!
He didn't stay there long when he realized I was having peanut butter. Half chunky, half creamy PB on Magic Pop- brain food!
Dinner was simple like usual... rotisserie chicken, cucumbers, roasted broccoli, and mashed cauliflower. I steamed chopped cauliflower in the bag in the microwave, then threw it in the Ninja with a little milk, garlic salt, and pepper. It was so good- it tasted just like the mashed cauliflower that comes with the blackened salmon I get at the restaurant down the street!
And now I am having my casein pro yo in one of my WalMart purchases. It was a stack of three tropical bowls with covers... SOLD! Big one- giant salads. Medium one- pro yo. Small one- overnight oats. Very very useful ;)
Hope you had a good day!!
