Hello and happy Sunday! This morning we were up bright and early to get our day started. After having my coffee, showering, and getting ready for the gym, I decided to have a meal before we went to lift. For the past two weekend training sessions I have done this, and I have felt better than ever, so we are going to stick with it! On the weekdays, I don't need more than my intrashake, but our weekend lift starts a little later and lasts a little longer, so I have found that I need a preworkout meal.
We got to the gym so early, we had the whole place to ourselves for awhile.
All of my lifts went so well today. Heavy squats felt super easy, so that was very exciting! I also had pause squats, bench press from the pins, trap bar deadlifts, safety bar good mornings, seal rows, decline weighted sit ups, and some shoulder mobility work. Then it was time for breakfast!
Later on, I met a few friends for lunch down the street. I had a garden salad with grilled chicken and it was so good and refreshing.
When I got home, we took Bo to play with Juno at the gym and they were pretty hilarious together. They both ended their play date completely soaked from each other's slobber😂
We got home and I had some Magic Pop and peanut butter to feed my brain for some reading and quiz taking!
Work, work, work, work, work!
Mike made dinner while I finished up my quiz. We had Australian grass fed beef tenderloin and asparagus- I didn't eat the cucumbers because they did not taste right at all!
Now we are watching part of Patriot's Day (I say part because I am pretty tired and am definitely going to bed soon!) Casein pro-yo and a little more peanut butter and I'm done for the day!
