I woke up and headed straight for my water and coffee this morning. I was super thirsty yesterday and woke up still thirsty, which is not good! Hydrate + caffeinate!
The other day, I said that I don't drink BCAAs anymore, and I guess that put me in the mood for some BCAAs!! I had so much house stuff to do, so I made myself a drink, put on Spotify, and got right to work. I started by painting another bathroom and was done by 9am😳 I have fun plans for this one, so I'll show you before and afters when it's all finished in a few weeks.
Mike got a few carloads of stuff from our storage unit while I was working on the bathroom. When we both finished, I made breakfast. I had broccoli, chopped onions, and egg whites with a pita with light canola oil butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
I set up a bedroom with some of our newly moved belongings, which felt really nice. Then, I headed out for a meeting about some special secret stuff that's in the works ;) I had part of a Quest bar on the way.
I also grabbed this smoothie made with spinach, cucumbers, banana, coconut water, pineapple and whey.
My coach's puppy is the cutest, sweetest guy ever. He's got the one ear up, one ear down look going on and it's way too cute!
I was so excited and feeling so fired up after our meeting, I can't wait for what's to come!! Also, the sun was shining and it was actually feeling a little WARM outside, so all I could do was smile.
I met Mike back at the storage unit to move a ton more stuff. We do make quite the moving team... we're very efficient and organized, which makes it so much easier. I am just so ready for this entire process to be over. We've been selling/moving/buying/moving since JULY. I'm all done. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on a pita mid-move!
Opening up my box of all my most favorite things made me so so happy. I missed them.
When we finished our work for the day, we did some fun grown up/old people things like got a car wash, returned some stuff, and did errands. So exciting, right?! We went to dinner at the perfect time for me- 5:30!
We went to one of our "regular" restaurants that's right down the hill from our house. It's really good and obviously so close and convenient, so it's perfect for old folks like us. Andddd it actually is usually full of old people.
I had a green starter salad and then blackened salmon with mashed cauliflower and shredded vegetables, which is what I usually get there.
After dinner, we went to get some groceries so we wouldn't have to do it tomorrow. Mike is a crazy person in the grocery store. He walks so fast and gets all serious, like he is on the most important mission in the world. Just look at that face trying to pick out a Diet Snapple!!!
When we got home, I had my chocolate casein pro-yo with PB2 on top, and Bo just watched and waited until he could lick the bowl.
Now it's time to relax for a bit and go to bed! Have a great night!
