tag sale success + my week so far

I spent Friday night in comfy clothes and with my favorite glass full of lemonade, mentally preparing for the busy weekend ahead.

Our tag sale was a huggggge success! We sold everything except for a few bins worth of stuff, which we had taken away to be donated on Subday afternoon. We have accumulated so many lululemon bags between that we just used those as shopping bags. It was actually a pretty funny sight!!!

Our basement looks gigantic now and there is something magical happening in our garage as we speak {I'll fill you in on that later this week!!!!} I am so glad we had this tag sale- our small house feels so much better! 

Sunday was pretty chilly compared to what we are used to now. I was very sad to have to wear pants and sleeves.... I avoid these as much as possible, but between being tired and having to be out in the chilly, cloudy weather, I just wanted to be warm.

Yesterday morning was rough after a super busy weekend. I just felt so exhausted, I'm really not used to it and don't handle it all that well :/ I like having my down time on the weekends to really recharge! 

The workout was a Tabata {20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest, 8 rounds} with two different sets of movements. I felt like I could have doubled this workout and it would've been more effective, but here's what I did. You add up your lowest reps for each movement to get your score. I used a 35# kettlebell for the swings and snatches.

Yesterday afternoon, I did my front squats 5x5, all at 175#....

And this morning, I headed to the track with the moon and the skunks. It was a brisk, beautiful morning and it felt great to run. I did 6x400m sprints, then some push ups, sit ups, and planks.  I was still tired from the weekend, but the cool air definitely woke me up and rejuvenated me!

I had to run to BJs after school today to get some of our staples....

And then I stopped at the gym to do my Romanian deadlifts. 5x5, all sets at 235...

Time to go get dinner and my meals for tomorrow all ready to go! Have a great night :)
