Welcome to my blog where I give you a peek into how I live my healthy, happy life!

As in Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, people ;)

Wednesday was my rest day, which I love having and I need mentally and physically. I coached in the morning, then worked a little on my butterfly pullups with my coach. They are coming along, it's tough for an uncoordinated person like me to get the whole rhythm and connect my feet and legs to the rest of my body.

I spent the whole day at school and got a lot done, but not as much as I wanted/needed to.

The dogs have been loving dog sitting and hanging with their buddy. They also are obsessed with swimming in the pool, and it's the cutest thing ever.

Thursday morning, I went to the track to do my EWOD, which was 2x 1 mike with 5 mins rest in between. My first mile was 7:08 and the second was 7:12.... I'm getting faster and staying consistent, which are two good things.

I met Mike at the box after that and we did the kettle bell WOD. It was a nice 10 minute smoker like usual with double unders, catch and release swings, and hand release push ups. I finished 6 rounds and 21 double unders and my shoulders were fried!

Friday morning was a struggle.... Especially since it was the second day this week I did a metcon at 5am ALL ALONE. It really stinks doing stuff like this alone, and it definitely affects my mental game and performance. No bueno!

It was 3 rounds of a 400m run, 2 rope climbs, 10 handstand push-ups, and 20 pull ups. It was the pull ups that killed me- mentally and physically after all the other stuff. 20 just feels like a lot per round, and I didn't even want to do them haha. I finished in 18:22 and didn't like it.  I was happy with the run, rope climbs, and HSPUs, though, so I'll take that.

I did my squats right after that to make myself feel better:

Then it was a nice day at the pool with the dogs...

before heading to Fenway to see Zac Brown!

I love our traditions so so much <3

Have a happy weekend!
