Tuesday was a rainy day, which was actually nice because we hadn't had one of those in awhile...
That meant that my EWOD changed from a run to a row, though, and that was not so nice.
Ruby was happy to snuggle with me after my workout. She is the best little friend.
Making stuff for school take so long and people really don't understand. After cutting two sets of these word ring cards, I decided to set a timer and go Crossfit style- as fast as possible. Set three took me 10:40, but I beat that time on set 4 with 9:02. I still have two more sets to cut and I am just not in the mood.
My classroom is looking good, though. Some of you like seeing that stuff, so here are little glimpses of my new room:
I've spent so many days at school already, most of my meals have been eaten there. I'm really glad that I haven't gotten out of my school year routines and schedule this summer- it's going to make going back a whole lot easier.
Speaking of food, here are a couple of dinners not eaten out of Tupperware that I decided to take pictures of.
Thursday morning, I was feeling sore in the legs, but I was happy that it wasn't raining so that I could do my endurance work outside. I ran 3x1000m and then did the KB WOD, which all got me in the legs even more :)
That afternoon, I did my back squats and push press, both 5x3, and was real happy to get back to my old back squat numbers in my new position.
I was pretty happy to push press more than my bodyweight for a couple of sets.
Friday morning was a long, sweaty WOD that was right up Mike's alley- no barbell. That means it was not right up my alley, but I managed to stay pretty close behind him the whole time.
