my thursday in food + workouts
Hi guys! Yesterday, I decided to take pictures of everything I ate all day. It was a very normal day eating-wise, other than that nothing was eaten out of Tupperware! And I usually have a meal similar to my 11:30 one at 2:30 as well, but with the heat, I just wanted something cold and light.
Once school starts again, I'll do another post like this if anyone cares to see how I manage my workouts and food. To be honest, it requires more prep work every day, but that actually makes life easier. A little less "fun", but easy. 90% of those meals WILL be eaten out of Tupperware.
Here it goes...
Whey Protein + Carbs in water
Endurance WOD: 6x400m sprints with 3 minutes recovery
Kettle Bell: 10 minute AMRAP: 20 bottoms up KB cleans, 7 over the bell burpees
Egg whites, peppers + onions with oatmeal, almond milk, bananas, blueberries and cashew butter
Turkey burger, cucumber, feta, pasta salad with pita w/PB
Greek yogurt with crumbled homemade organic Fig Newton and blueberries
BCAAs + Shoulder Press 5x3
Pineapple salsa chicken, roasted broccoli with feta + sweet potato strips
Chocolate Casein + Almond Butter
What else did I do besides workout + eat? Well, I finished painting the bathroom closet. I love how bright and clean it looks now!
I also distressed this old wooden bench that belonged to Mike. It sits at the bottom of the guest bed, and I've always liked it, but the dark wood just wasn't my style. I've been wanting to paint it for so long, and finally decided to get it done. Now I guess it belongs to me ;)
So much better!
