last week {real quick!}

Monday's WOD was way tough, especially after "too much birthday".

I ended up 9 power cleans short of finishing, and felt horrible for every single second of this one. I CANNOT WAIT for running WODs to return!

My front squats on Tuesday were frustrating. I really wanted to get 195x3, and went for it three separate times, each time ending up only getting 2 reps and failing on the third. 190 it was for that day.

The kettlebell WOD was really tough with the alternating snatches and overhead squats, but I loved it.

I was starting to feel run down and like I could get sick {which was NOT an option} so I loaded up on Airborne and these "vitamins". They taste like candy, and they say to eat three a day, so I did. Between that and going to bed before Jeopardy was over, I saved myself from getting sick!

Wednesday morning, I felt a lot better! It was a fun little triplet and I was happy to be working out with Mike and a few other guys who really pushed me! I went pretty quick, and my shoulders and triceps were on fireeeeeeee. It was awesome!

Cutting up fruit is not really exciting, but watermelon and pineapple {and canteloupe} are my top 3 favorites at the moment. Just thought you should know that.

On Thursday, my deficit deadlifts went really well! Last time, I went up to 220# x5 and ended up feeling like I could've/should've done more. So this time, I did.

I went up to 230x5 and still felt great {there's a video of it on my Instagram @liftinginlilly if you want to check it out!}

This "kettlebell WOD" was terrible because it didn't involve kettlebells. The CF Football burpees {aka sprawls} weren't too bad except that my shoulders were still burning from the other day. The double unders were ok, but I was tripping up a lot for some reason. But the hollow rocks were awful- you wouldn't think they would be so bad, laying on the floor and all, but I could barely rock for 5 seconds at a time. Those burpees definitely fried my core!

Once I got to school, I came up with a delicious treat... I added my protein to my iced coffee instead of mixing it with plain classroom sink water.... It was delicious! This will definitely be my springtime treat :)

On Thursday night, we went to the box to watch the 15.3 announcement. I immediately felt pretty discouraged and decided to take Friday completely off because I had a big weekend ahead of me and a lot to think about. More on this to come..........
