I have lots more to share from our wedding/trip, but I just can't right now. Right now, all I will tell you is this:

My new husband, our dogs, and crossfit are the only things making me slightly ok at the moment :( 

Monday morning, I wasn't too happy to see the workout because if I'm working up to a heavy snatch, I'd like to have been snatching a lot like I normally do.

Luckily, I did one snatch per minute and got up to 118#, which made me feel like I didn't lose too much strength/skill while we were away.

Monday night, I went back to do my Oly workout with my partner. It felt good to lift again, but I was definitely feeling tired {story of my life right now!!}

But then on Tuesday, the deadlifts made me feel super weak. I think I am still kind of on island time and in denial, so I wasn't even really excited to do 5x3. I only went up to 250#, which is going off my latest 1 rep max of 280#. I would've liked to have gone off of 290#, but I'm not ready yet... Sigh.

The kettlebell WOD was good, though, and my legs were shaking pretty much the whole time.

Last night was another Oly workout that definitely felt tough, I think because of the soreness that was settling into my legs from Monday and Tuesday morning!

This morning, I kind of wanted to take a rest day, but my HUSBAND told me we were going because it was a partner WOD and he knew I'd be mad later on if we didn't go! Again, I wasn't feeling excited about doing it, which is not like me at all, but I am glad we did it.

Luckily the kids in my class are being really good and really cute about my new name! When anyone calls me my old name, they say "Miss Chipman?? Who's that!?!" And the new name is catching on pretty quick <3
