you wonder why i do this... i wonder why you don't

This is my favorite shirt ever. I have seriously been thinking about this topic so much lately, fueled mostly by comments I have received lately. I am planning a whole post on it, but I need to get my thoughts together in the most effective way possible first... so, to be continued.

Yesterday was Low Bar Back Squat day! This position still feels awkward to me compared to High Bar Back Squat, but yesterday, I started getting more used to it. I ended up doing 205x3 twice to finish off my lift and felt great and real strong.

Mike put our leftover steak from Monday night into my lunch salad. It was soooo good. We usually put turkey burger, ham, or black bean burger in with our chopped peppers, tomatoes, and eggs.

I headed back to CrossFit after school for the Endurance WOD {EWOD}. Again, it didn't look terrible when I saw it posted on the website, but about two 200s into it, I wanted to quit again! I didn't quit because I AM NOT A QUITTER!!! but my legs felt like lead after Monday's sandbag run WOD and the Low Bar Back Squats in the morning. Like always though, I was so happy and felt so great when it was over!

You can't really tell here, but my face gets so crazy red from running/intense cardio {always has}. I had sweat in my eyeballs for sure.

I got home and was so exhausted. Luckily, Mike got home before me, so Rubes welcomed me home at the gate :)

And he decided to make the most delicious dinner EVER. Baked chicken stuffed with feta and prosciutto and roasted asparagus with little bits of crispy prosciutto! It was sooo so good, I can't wait until he makes it again ;)

I knew today would involve pull ups. We haven't done a ton lately, so I could feel them coming! They always slow me down, even though I can kip now, when I am tired, I only do a couple at a time. But I still loved this WOD and finished in 8:49 {a lot of time spent getting up and down off the pull up bar- ugh}. I knew that would happen though, so I went as fast as possible on everything else.

Tonight is the Barbell Club {Oly skill work} and I can't wait! Have a good rest of your Wednesday!!!
