proud of myself!

Mondays' wods are always tough ones {they're ALWAYS tough, but Mondays really shock you right into the new week!} and yesterday's was a really good one! When I first saw the workout online when I woke up, I was thing there was no way I was doing the Rx weight of 110# for the power cleans. At my old gym, I think 115# was my max!! Mix the heavy cleans with burpee box jumps and I thought I would maybe complete 2 rounds in the 15 minutes!

Well, thank god that Coach Auvie had more faith in me than I had in myself! He watched me do a few warm ups and was like "Um, you're doing Rx". So I did. And the cleans were my favorite part! The burpee box jumps made me want to die, but I loved the cleans and even strung all 5 in a row each round! I *almost* finished 7 rounds, but I was 3 burpee box jumps short--- I was wayyy proud of myself for how I did, though, and felt so happy afterward!!

Later in the morning, I headed back into school to do a few things, my favorite of which was decorating my classroom door. I figured it would be smar to make my new name for the door now, rather than in December when I have a lot of other stuff to think about!!! I CANNOT WAIT to be Mrs. Ferzoco!!!

This morning, I was feeling real strong for some reason and these deadlifts felt amazing and pretty easy for me {relatively speaking}. I worked up to 215# for 3 twice. I honestly felt like I could've gone again and added some more-- felt great!

My area is always completely chalked up. The bar, the plates, me, everything gets covered in chalk no matter what the wod is... I love it.

Have a great day, and do something that makes YOU proud of yourself!!
