Wednesday morning's rainy day WOD was a lung burner for sure! The burpees and kettle bell swings were killer, but it felt real good doing the last set of nine!

I finished in 8:33- Mike kicked my butt, which he really only does when there are no barbells involved ;) I'm a barbell girl.

Wednesday afternoon, I came home to two great packages: Some new Rogue shirts/tanks, Quest bars, and BCAAs.

That night, I had Barbell Club, and we worked on all things Snatch. Lots of overhead work smoked my shoulders & delts... So, Thursday morning was fun!

Shoulder Press and a tough KB WOD. It was a 10 minute AMRAP of 30 Russian swings and 15 Hand Release Push Ups. My  delts were on fireeeeeeeee. I also thought some kipping pull up practice was a good idea {competition #2 is coming up!!!!} Go to my Instagram to see the video! @lindsaychipman

I came home to find Ruby in what she thinks is "her bed" now- the guest room. We slept in there a few nights last week when it was too hot upstairs, and we had already taken the air conditioner out. Well, I guess it caught her interest because she has been heading in there everyday since! I think we will have to start shutting the door, but for now I'll let her be a little cozy.

Dinner and drinks out on Thursdays pretty much saves my life. Last night was a real, real good one.

This morning's WOD scared me because I knew I'd be exhausted from the Wall Balls and running, and when I'm tired, my pull ups aren't awesome. Well, something changed in me within the 20 minutes of this WOD. The first round was fine, then the second and third rounds, I think I was doubting myself and my pull ups were stinking, I couldn't pick the right bar to use to make them feel "right". Then I got mad {at so many things}. Like super super mad. My Wall Balls were right on point, and my pull ups became awesome- I did 5 at a time for the rest of my rounds! I got super aggressive, thought about how mad I was, and knocked them right out. And I felt soooooo much better! When I finished, I was so pumped and happy that I had conquered this one little workout.
